Medellín, Colombia
Our second stop along the Women Who Travel tour with Condé Nast Traveler and El Camino Travel was to the industrial mountain city of Medellín. They call Medellín the “city of eternal spring” due to its temperate climate. As the second largest city in Colombia, it has a world class metro transportation system, including cablecars and escalators for easy access up and down the steep surrounding mountains. We stayed at the newly-opened, design-centric Click Clack Hotel in the El Poblado neighborhood, which was filled with chic and trendy details, both large and small. Stunning graffiti and street art are at every turn walking around this city. During our stay, we ventured to the countryside to visit a lake house near a farming village outside of the city. As in Cartagena, the culinary scene in Medellín did not disappoint.
