Due to the pandemic, Megan and Lawson had a two-part wedding. The first part took place in June 2020 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with an intimate gathering of immediate family members where their pastor, Dorian, who introduced the couple, officiated the ceremony. Then in 2021, as restrictions eased, Megan and Lawson hosted a vow renewal celebration at the Cathedral and reception at the Lace House at Arsenal Hill, a premier venue in Columbia, South Carolina. The wedding was a formal, black-tie optional event, with elegant details and Southern charm. Their classic, dusty pink color palette – echoed across the bridal party's attire and stunning florals – complimented the historical, refined backdrop of the venue. Despite having to alter their plans due to the pandemic, Megan and Lawson's wedding felt like an event that came full circle over the course of a year: beginning in 2020 and with a grand finale in 2021.
